Ayo Philip-King MBA CMI IBC SFEDI

Ayo is the Director of AOTL Consulting Ltd which he founded in 2002 to provide cutting edge and innovative consultancy, business development and top level restructuring to corporate and SME organisations. Ayo is an expert in strategy implementation; the art of turning strategic objectives into action and high performance which is what he has done successfully for a variety of small and large organisations. He has transformed the structures and systems of organisations in various sectors such as Environment and Re-generation, Transport Planning & Management, Waste Management, Community Development, Parking & Traffic Management.

Within the Voluntary/third sector, Ayo serves as Director of a registered charity - SOAR AHEAD, leading the charity’s work to promote and strengthen a culture of enterprise within the community. He takes the lead on the delivery of structured enterprise workshops, training and business support services as part of the Local Enterprise Growth Initiative (LEGI). He is SFEDI accredited and a certified assessor of the EFQM Excellence Model and NFTE certified enterprise trainer.

Ayo currently sits on Barking & Dagenham Council’s Economic Development and Enterprise Sub-group. His remit is to engage with and provide links to VCS organisations providing information, advice and support to communities, including BMER communities, on issues of economic development and enterprise.
